Congratulations to Laken for winning the best photo of 2009!!! This was an incredibly spirited contest, and we’re so happy to see the support from all the families & friends. The contest ended up with over 400 votes (some we had to remove to keep in line with the rules of the contest). This ended up being a very close race between Laken (#1) & Donna (#5), and I want to share the results to keep everything fair.
As far as straight up voting goes (only 1 vote per IP address) the results were:
Laken: 101 / Donna: 92
Allowing some grace with the IP addresses (up to 5 votes per IP address, as some families would vote with the same IP address) the results were:
Laken: 128 / Donna: 117
After that we had some ballot stuffing from some very loyal fans (some with over 30 votes to 1 IP address, this was definitely against the rules), the results were:
Laken: 142 / Donna: 182
Ultimately with all the love & support they have, both brides are real winners.
