Pay attention ladies, this is going to be one of the most important weddings you will read about all year.
Brent Patterson of Marianne’s was on a mission: show a bride how she could get the best of the best within the average Oklahoma wedding budget. With years of experience, and an inside track to the best talent pool of Oklahoma wedding vendors, Brent knew what could be accomplished if the bride & groom were willing to make some adjustments in their planning. By cutting down significantly on the guest list (as well as a few other tricks he can show you), a bride can end up with the wedding of her dreams instead of continually compromising on quality. So to kick off the 2010 season Brent pulled together some of the best wedding vendors in the state, along with one lucky bride & groom who were willing to go along with anything so that in the end they could have a wedding with everything!

Best Photo of 2009 Contest Winner, & New Website!
Congratulations to Laken for winning the best photo of 2009!!! This was an incredibly spirited contest, and we’re so happy to see the support from all the families & friends. The contest ended up with over 400 votes (some we had to remove to keep in line with the rules of the contest). This ended up being a very close race between Laken (#1) & Donna (#5), and I want to share the results to keep everything fair.
As far as straight up voting goes (only 1 vote per IP address) the results were:
Laken: 101 / Donna: 92
Allowing some grace with the IP addresses (up to 5 votes per IP address, as some families would vote with the same IP address) the results were:
Laken: 128 / Donna: 117
After that we had some ballot stuffing from some very loyal fans (some with over 30 votes to 1 IP address, this was definitely against the rules), the results were:
Laken: 142 / Donna: 182
Ultimately with all the love & support they have, both brides are real winners.

Top 10 of 2009 Contest!
As we prepare to launch our new Traina Weddings website, we are going through a massive quantity of amazing images from 2009. We decided to hold a top 10 contest of the images that have received raves throughout the year, to have some fun & give a little back to our wonderful clients. The winner will get a free 20X30 Fine Art Print, as well as the opening image on our new website.
The Rules:
1- Simply fill out the comment field with the number to your favorite image
2- Only 1 vote per person (in short that means 1 vote per email, & IP address… no cheating, and we know when you cheat!)
3- Voting will end by January 31st, or when the new website is completed (whichever comes first)
4- Voting is open to anyone, clients, family, friends, photographers, etc. All are encouraged to cast their vote & spread the word!

Number one is beautiful, but it is absolutely lacking passion and vigor..it is elegant, but if the photograph appears without passion and energy, it is just an image on a screen/sheet of paper. #5 has phenomenal composition. Down to the last detail, it is timeless and magical. From the silhouette of the trees, to the burst of sun behind her back; from the rough concrete around her, to the serene yet impassioned look on her face, this photograph is the winner. It showcases your talent as a wedding photographer, it accredits your claim to unique photography, and it will put more confidence in any viewers mind that you are the best Oklahoma has to offer. Although I am also inclined to #6, as it displays powerful sentiment and nostalgia, I think #5 would best suit the message you wish to send viewers upon first glance at your page.
